Laser Coaching for Small Business Owners: “Get Clear, Get Focused, Get Aligned, and Commit to Action“, Gold Miner Inn- Holiday Inn Express, 121 Bank Street, Grass Valley, CA from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce and The Union newspaper, this coaching workshop will allow small business owners to experience laser coaching with professionally trained coaches and raise awareness of ICF Sacramento as a valuable resource for professionally trained coaches. - Coaching Buzz with Blogging Marathon. Beginning on April 21st, and continuing through International Coaching Week, ICF Sacramento members are invited to contribute and/or comment on our blog. Our goal is to create a buzz about coaching. Penny Pearl is coordinating the blogging marathon to eliminate redundancy on topics and get commitments from coaches willing to create buzz with our blog. - Listen Up: KNCO “Talking About Business” Radio Talk Show will feature guests, Machen MacDonald (President of ICF Sacramento) and Janice Knight (VP of ICF Sacramento) to talk about International Coaching Week and the power of coaching. ICF Sacramento, a charter chapter of the International Coach Federation, is a nonprofit professional organization of trained personal, business, corporate and specialized coaches from the greater Sacramento area, and surrounding counties (Placer, El Dorado, Shasta, Nevada, Yuba, Amador, Solano, Napa and Stanislaus Counties). In harmony with the purpose, mission, and integrity of the International Coach Federation, ICF Sacramento exists to:
- Encourage active participation by engaging with our members and those looking for coaches
- Differentiate “Certified Coaches” or “Professional Coaches” from other “coaches”
- Educate the public about the benefits of Professional Coaching
- Provide resources for ongoing education, development, and readiness for the eventual licensing of the coaching profession
